Despite the advances our medical system has made, fertility preservation procedures for those about to undergo cancer treatment are not covered by many medical insurance plans. This is despite the fact that chemotherapy and other cancer treatments can cause irreversible damage to the patients reproductive system. Studies have shown that female patient ranging of any age, 20 to 40 undergoing typical chemotherapy can enter into early menopause due to treatment, additionally and men going through the same treatment can go sterile.
Hold Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit that funds fertility preservation for cancer patients entering treatment. Our aim is to
spread awareness and elicit change, while in the interim we providing grants to cancer patients who can not afford the high medical costs associated with vital fertility preservation treatments.
Hold Hope aims to improve the lives of cancer patients by providing fertility preservation resources and financial aid before entering treatment.
